Presentation

This beautiful house was built in 1930 on an imposing French-style street-corner with only the finest materials. It contains original oak woodwork, original vitreaux, lead work doors, and handcrafted frames and elements. This comfortable, discrete, luminous and elegant house is 260 sq meters, which is unusual due to its location within the trendy neighborhood of Palermo Soho. The location is very central, only a few blocks from the Palermo Parks, the Horse track, the Polo fields, public transportation, and the best restaurants and shops in Buenos Aires.

The current owner is a European designer, who for two years meticulously renovated and decorated the house, down to the very last detail. There are two floors, the first one consisting of two living rooms (one with a fireplace), a library, bar, two balconies, dining room with original art deco-style furnishings, a spacious fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area, reception bathroom. The master bedroom on the first floor has its own private lounge and dressing area, en-suite bathroom, and balcony.

The second floor is accessed via an impressive Carrara marble staircase with stained glass skylight. When you reach the second floor, the design is obvious: a roomy, fully-equipped studio/office, spacious landing, two suites with two full private bathrooms, a patio and a large terrace and deck measuring 50 sq meters with private pool and sunbathing area for relaxation and comfort.

This house was recently published in several exclusive magazines of Architecture and Decoration. Last 2009, July was the cover of D&D, the most prestigious design magazine in all South America.
